B.BA. Supply Chain Management and Logistics

• Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

The program objectives of the Supply Chain Management and Logistics degree, are that within 5 to 7 years of graduation, students will:

1. Possess extensive knowledge and skills focused on a specific occupation of Supply Chain Management and Logistics.
2. Demonstrate the capability to apply analytical skills in effective decision making and generating logistical solutions to problems in different environments.
3. Function effectively in the common business domains of finance, management, leadership, marketing, and information systems.
4. Model the personal and cognitive skills required to be effective in the Supply Chain Management and Logistics industry including communication, teamwork, entrepreneurship, and other soft skills, such as time management, supervision, and leadership management.
5. Demonstrate the application of ethics in business and a responsibility to society and their profession.

• Student Learning Outcomes (SLO’s)

Student learning outcomes have been developed in an alignment with professional association standards. Upon graduation, program’s graduates will have the skills to:

• Apply business principles, tools, and analytical skills to the context of Supply Chain Management and Logistics.
• Analyze best practices in Supply Chain Management and Logistics contexts to provide sustainable and efficient solutions to business challenges.
• Prioritize courses of action and resource utilization to efficiently solve operational problems in the Supply Chain Management and Logistics domain.
• Supply Chain Management and Logistics Evaluate ethical principles within the domain of Supply Chain Management and Logistics and be able to apply these to different situations.
• Interpret the governance, political, and legislative environment, within which SCML managers operate including international treaties and shipping protocols.

Students must complete 126 credits of courses to obtain the Bachelor of Business Administration (B.BA.) in Supply Chain Management and Logistics. These requirements are explained in the previous sections and summarized as follows:

1. University Core Courses (General Education)             42 credit hours
2. College of Business Administration requirements            36 credit hours
3. Major Requirements (compulsory + elective) 42 credit hours
   • Compulsory courses: 24 credits
   • Major elective courses: 18 credits
