Our 21 academic programs have been carefully selected through rigorous market studies to reflect the current and future job demand.

We pride ourselves with hosting a constellation of academic and administrative staff equipped with the knowledge and competencies required to prepare our graduates to future markets and inspire them to succeed in bringing about the welfare and prosperity of the society. On Behalf of the International University of Kuwait (IUK), I extend a warm welcome to all! IUK was established to provide outstanding higher educational services and commenced its operations in 2021 with a vision to be the leading higher education institution and a beacon for disseminating knowledge and technology across the country and region. This ambitious plan is supported and guided by a board of trustees committed to excellence and a senior executive team with a vast experience in higher education. The IUK model is underpinned by distinguished governance systems, academic excellence & innovation, spacious facilities, community outreach, and industry partnership. We have provided adequate infrastructural facilities for student learning & training to better prepare our graduates for responsibilities as good citizens of the country. Message From Vice President Academic Affairs

Message of Vice President, Academic Affairs

I am pleased to welcome you to the Office of the Academic Affairs at the International University of Kuwait (IUK). As the Vice President for Academic Affairs, my role is to provide strategic vision, leadership and support for the Academic Affairs sector of the university. The sector includes the Colleges of Arts, Business Administration, Engineering and University Foundation Program; in addition to the Office of Research and Development, Institutional Effectiveness, and Office of International Relationship. I work closely with the deans of colleges, leadership of the different academic affairs offices and other sectors of IUK to ensure high-quality and continuous improvement of the academic programs and guiding the university toward its achieving its mission.

The Office of Academic Affairs works, with other sectors, towards achieving IUK’s mission by promoting excellence and innovation in curriculum design, teaching and learning, scholarly work, and student engagement. All our academic programs in the different colleges are developed based on a scientific framework (Academic Program Development-APD) that supports Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and Competency-Based Education (CBE), to ensure that highest quality standards. In addition, our curricula are developed following strict guidelines based on the APD framework.

IUK’s faculty and staff, from different disciplines and backgrounds, are committed to providing our students with the best learning experience and a high-quality education. In addition to their knowledge and scholarship, our faculty bring to IUK an extensive experience in their field of practice and industrial experience to provide students with outstanding learning experience and opportunities.
